Getting Over It Strategy? vol.3

about4mins to read

I'm finding it extremely difficult to make progress in Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy on my own, so I've decided to write an article to gain some sense of accomplishment.

This is my third attempt. It seems like I have less content than usual.

Review of Last Time

I managed to climb up with momentum.

Trash Can

For some reason, a trash can is placed in the gap.
Let's call this area the "trash can" for now.

I can overcome this area by climbing down the rock below and using the momentum to grab onto the rock above. It's not much different from last time.

I did it. It's simple.

Red Iron Beam

Now, a challenging configuration awaits.
It's a steeply inclined (around 30°?) and slippery iron beam.

As you can see from the image below, the hammer can't even reach it.

So, what can I do?
Of course, I have to utilize the momentum from climbing up from below.

If I climb up with momentum and grab onto the beam like in the image below, I'll succeed.

Summary

My heart is broken
A sound is heard

This is the most stressful experience I've had since starting this game.
