Distributing "Learn by Creating NFTxBlockchain: Implementing an Anonymous Membership Site with Solana NFT" at C100

だいたい10分で読めます

At Comic Market 100 held on Saturday, August 13, I will be distributing a new book titled "Learn by Creating NFTxBlockchain: Implementing an Anonymous Membership Site with Solana NFT".

The Web Catalog (Circle.ms) is available here.

I plan to distribute the digital version for 500 yen, and a card for the digital version only for 500 yen. Additionally, physical copies of previously published books will also be sold at the venue. Please refer to the product list image for details.

What's the content?

With the recent expansion of blockchain technology, it's important to have a correct understanding when utilizing it technically. In this new publication, I will create an anonymous membership site using NFTs on Solana, a high-speed chain written in Rust. The content will overview the utilization methods and technical limitations in this process.

Highlights

  • Learn the basic knowledge of NFTs and blockchain
  • Learn the technical elements necessary for NFT sales
  • Understand examples of processes to be done on the blockchain and those not to be done
  • Touch on AWS infrastructure construction and React frontend construction
  • Ability to learn by actually running the product

First few pages

As a reference for the content, I'm posting about the first 10 pages. Please note that there may be changes as I'm refining until the very end.

Author's self-review

While blockchain and NFTs are hot topics these days, there are few technical books that deal with these rapidly changing, emerging technologies systematically. Although official documentation and blog posts are abundant, many people might not know where to start due to varying prerequisites or articles being in English. This book is structured to start from a relatively basic level and ultimately allows you to interact with an actually working product, making it a good starting point for diving into this industry. Also, as mentioned in the "Introduction", technologies that cause a stir in society are often the ones we have fewer opportunities to touch. Why not take this opportunity to explore the interesting world of blockchain applications?

Distribution plans

The new book will also be available on booth. If there are any leftover physical copies of previously published books, I plan to put them on booth as well. Also, the sample program covered in this book is planned to be made public on GitHub.

Plans for the day

Comiket is slightly distant and slightly early in the morning. I hope to somehow avoid oversleeping and make it there!

I also plan to bring a small bonus book that was available before.

Bonus - Production notes

  • This is my first Comiket exhibition since C93. Like recent Comikets, C100 also uses an admission ticket system, making it difficult to casually drop by, but let's enjoy it if you're participating. Speaking of C100, various topics are being raised, but Circle Takeboki is incredible. If there were no admission restrictions due to tickets, it would probably be an unbelievable situation.
  • Even in half a year since the application, the environment has changed a lot, which is characteristic of a rapidly changing industry.
  • I've become better at using GIMP. Thank you as always. The fonts I bought a long time ago are also doing a good job.
  • The Firebase book from C93 was about 30 pages, the Ackermann function book from Technical Book Festival 7 was about 65 pages (my part only), and this time it's about 60 pages. Considering that the previous book had a lot of code and output results, this book has a considerably larger amount of text. By the way, I found out that 60 pages can be just barely stapled with a regular stapler.
