Strategies for Uncleared ☆11 Charts

だいたい21分で読めます

Currently, there are 23 uncleared ☆11 charts (15 of which are scratch charts).

I'm compiling this as a personal memo of difficulties and strategies, but I'm publishing it in case it might be useful to others.
Note that since I'm not good at scratching, most of these are scratch charts.

As I haven't played much, there are some charts I don't understand well.
I'll update this as I progress in clearing them.

Current Status

In terms of the ☆12 reference table, I occasionally get HARD clears on B-tier charts.
In terms of CPI, I'm around 1550.

I'm really bad at continuous scratching.
I can't even get EXHARD on HEARTACHE(A), and I fail HARD on charts like Shakunetsu(H) or Bus Bass(A).
Am I really chuuden?
I intend to start over with scratching from ☆9 charts.

Non-Scratch/Non-SofLan

Χ-DEN

A chart with various elements.

There's continuous scratching in the Shakunetsu section, but it only lasts for a few measures, so it's not too damaging.
There are many recovery sections, but you need to get through the Nageki no Denim, Himiko section, and the final Denim to get a HARD clear, which is difficult.
No specific strategy, just need to improve overall skill and brute force it.

Available in INF's song pack (PK18).

Critical Crystal

Commonly known as Criti-Crystal.

There's scratching, but the simultaneous presses are the real challenge.
There are many sections that gradually drain your gauge, so no specific strategy, just need to improve simultaneous pressing skills and brute force it.

https://textage.cc/score/21/ccrystal.html?2AB80

Available in INF's song pack (PK7).

V2

Denim.
This one is also within playable range, so improving overall skill and brute forcing it is the way to go.

100% minimoo-G

An endless strange rhythm.
If I can do this, Himiko(H) should be much more stable.

The initial vertical/trill? is extremely difficult.
The final vertical section is also gauge-draining, so I want to enter it with a good gauge.

Strategy is unclear.
It might be worth trying to play without listening to the music.

Available in INF.

Beastie Starter

A lethal amount of vertical/trill notes rain down just before the end.

Compared to other charts where misalignment means death, the rhythm is much easier to understand than 100% minimoo-G, but the density is higher.
It's hard to compare which is more difficult.

Available in INF's song pack (PK3).

Do it!! Do it!!

Vertical notes.

It's highly dependent on the note placement, and if I get a good pattern, it might clear smoothly.
However, improving overall skill and brute forcing it seems to be the best approach, so I plan to leave it alone for a while.

SofLan

SABER WING

Familiar to DDR players as well.

The BPM mainly changes between 222, 74, and 222.
The 444 section only has one scratch, so it can be ignored.

There's a gap before the speed changes, so adjust the hi-speed with the keyboard.
For me, 6 keyboard presses seem to work well.

Fascination MAXX

A familiar worst-case scenario chart for DDR players.
It must be fun when you can do it.

When looking for strategies, you often see "First, multiply the green number by 4."
Note that with the new hi-speed settings, the maximum green number you can set is around 1,050 no matter how hard you try.
If your green number aptitude is close to 300, you won't be able to set it, so switch to classic hi-speed.

The initial slow section is mild in HYPER, but with ANOTHER in mind, I want to manage it with the scratch chon method introduced in CORIVER's video.
Trying this method, while the setup and operation are complex, it significantly reduces the impact of the SofLan.
I'll try to practice it hard.

Scratch and Keyboard

m1dy Deluxe

The continuous scratching is relatively short, just need to endure for 8 measures.
Many vertical notes.

Available in INF's song pack (PK7).

BRAINSTORM

Please stop the continuous scratch trills.

https://textage.cc/score/21/brainstm.html?2AB00

Available in INF's song pack (PK7).

Continuous Scratch

Just a Little Smile

The continuous scratch sections are largely divided into two areas.

The scratches in the latter half have gaps, so memory or recognition skills seem necessary.

Available in INF.

Digitank System

Slow scratching.

The scratch-dense area is the 16 measures just before the end.
Whether you can get through that is the key.
There are many recovery areas before the difficult part.

https://textage.cc/score/15/digitank.html?2AB00

27th style

Just endure the opening.

It also has strong scratch complex elements.

naughty girl@Queen's Palace (L)

Among continuous scratch charts, this one is relatively compatible with my style.
Maybe because the breaks are easy to understand.

rough percussionythm

Continuous scratching comes locally.
The ability to easily reset is a grateful point.

CHECKING YOU OUT

The familiar Checkin.
I can keep BP to 10-20 on HYPER (☆9).

It doubles in speed for the last 16 measures, then returns to the original speed for the final 3 measures.
If aiming for a thorough strategy, it's better to match the faster speed, but for HARD clear, scratch chon should be fine.

Regardless of the SofLan, I can't do the scratching, so HARD clear is far off.

Available in INF.

IDC feat.REVERBEE (Mo'Cuts Ver)

Continuous scratching.
Even HYPER (☆9) gives me about 60 BP.

If you're not good at scratching, you can't compete.
Let's start with HYPER.

Available in INF's song pack (PK18).

Beat Juggling Mix

Continuous scratching with SofLan added.
There are subtle speed changes, leaning towards the worst-case scenario.

The major change is from 105 to 188, so I want to give up and use scratch chon there.
However, before the change it changes every beat: 198, 192, 186, 188, so I'll have to accept slight misalignments.

https://textage.cc/score/24/beatjugg.html?2AB00

Available in INF's song pack.

Hanakan feat.Aikapin

Continuous scratching with SofLan added.
One of the worst ☆11 clear rates.
Even HYPER (☆9) gives me about 60 BP.
It should be ☆12.
But the song is good.

The acceleration is in two stages, with only the first 5 measures at 83, then 165 for a while.
The last 17 measures are 180.

When I tried it, I could still see the notes when it changed from 165 to 180.
It seems easiest to use scratch chon when it becomes 165, and recover in the middle section.

Regardless of the SofLan, I can't do the scratching, so HARD clear is far off.

Available in INF's song pack (PK17).

Theory

Continuous scratching.
There is SofLan, but 146 at the start is the main speed, so gear change is unnecessary.

First of all, I can't handle the scratching at all.
I need to train my scratch skills and try again.

Shakunetsu Pt.2 Long Train Running

Continuous scratching.

I don't even select it anymore, so I don't know.
I'll think about it after I can do the others.

Available in INF's song pack (ST2).

SAMURAI-Scramble

Continuous scratching.

Clearly impossible.
I'll think about it after I can do the others.

Available in INF's song pack (PK12).

Bass Drop Freaks (L)

It's over.
This will probably remain uncleared until the end.

Already Cleared Charts

D

In the first half, it accelerates from 120 to 240, then settles at 175 after the CN.
It's invisible when it doubles, but the 120 period is long, so scratch chon at around 170 or 180.
There's a 1-beat gap after the CN where you can escape, so it's easy to remember to scratch chon there.
In the second half, although the speed changes, there's 1/2 measure after the CN, so scratch chon is possible.

Basically, you can brute force scratch chon everything.
I referred to PEACE's video for this method.

The vertical notes after the SofLan ends are also quite tough in this chart.
If you miss, you'll die even after getting through the SofLan, so overall skill is important in the end.

Himiko

The familiar one.

There's SofLan, but the slow speed isn't very strong in HYPER.
The damage from scratch chon is big for the first slow speed, so I only scratch chon the last slow speed for stability.

In HYPER, the strange vertical notes before the slow speed (24 measures-) are very tough.
After that, something like a V comes, and you enter the slow speed with a drained gauge, so whether you can get through the first slow speed is the key.
If you can get through, the rest is a test of skill, so just try not to get drained.

The strange vertical notes seem to have very different playability depending on the placement, but it's unclear why I can't hit them.
I feel like I'm just hitting randomly to the rhythm, not really recognizing it properly.
It feels dangerous to focus too much on it, so I'd like to tackle it after clearing other ☆11s.

Ah Hah Yeah

The speed changes are 115, 230, 115, 230, all long enough to require gear changes.
There's no grace period, but the keyboard isn't too strong, so it's better to scratch chon even at the risk of damage.
