Keyket 2025 Product Lineup

だいたい 18 分で読めます

I will be participating in the Keyboard Market Tokyo (Keyket) 2025, held on Saturday, March 22, 2025.
It's a pre-purchase ticket system with a limit, so if you haven't bought yours yet, you should do so now.
I still remember vividly missing out last year because they were sold out by the time I noticed.

https://keyket.jp/tokyo-2025

I will have trial units of the 60% Starter Set DX and the Creator Pad Set (listed below) available for you to try.
Please come by and try them out for yourself! I might change the configurations occasionally.

I'll also have free pamphlets, so please feel free to take one if you pass by.

I plan to post updates on the day via SNS as needed.

I will bring everything to Keyket, and any leftover modules are planned to be sold online via BOOTH.
If items run out, the number of additional units produced will be based on the number of people who click "Notify Me When Available" (入荷お知らせメールを受け取る), so if you're interested, please click it on BOOTH.

Please see the official website for an overview.

Cue2Keys is a module-oriented keyboard that you assemble like LEGO® blocks.
You can choose the modules you like according to your needs, allowing you to easily add extra keys, knobs, or a trackball.
Since you can adjust the number and position of modules, let's try out various layouts.

No soldering is required; it works just by connecting cables. Also, the price has been kept down through various efforts.
Therefore, it's especially recommended for those who want to try various layouts and modules, or those looking to get started with custom keyboards.

Product Lineup (Sets)

The included key switches are temporary ones[1], so feel free to change them according to your preference.

Each set can be used just by providing your own keycaps.

60% Starter Set

60% Starter Set
60% Starter Set - Keycaps: ALOHAKB COFFEE LATE

¥22,000 (tax included, excluding keycaps)

A 66-key split keyboard.
In the default configuration, the keys are positioned for easier typing with adjusted placement and horizontally oriented thumb clusters, while the hub is placed under the base for tilting.
With layer functions, you can easily input symbols and arrow keys, making it recommended for transitioning from larger keyboards.

I plan to include some extras for sales at the venue.

A one-handed device aimed at illustrators and video editors. Swap out knobs and keys according to your workflow. You can also make adjustments like removing keys from unnecessary positions or using larger keycaps.
It's a set that makes it easy to add more modules.

Product Lineup (Individual Modules)

If there are modules you want to add to your starter set, you can purchase them individually. Individual modules cannot function on their own, so please purchase them together with a starter set.

Currently, the 4-Key, 5-Key, Trackball, and Knob modules are available. Depending on the configuration, additional connection modules may be required. Please refer to the build guide below to check if a configuration is possible. If it seems complicated, please ask me at the venue.

5-Key

¥1,100 (tax included, excluding keycaps)

A module to add 4 or 5 keys.

As is typical for a first batch, the manufacturing method differs depending on the color.
The white ones are resin-molded and planned to be the standard going forward. They use the same color and method as the base.
The sakura (cherry blossom pink) and brown ones are PLA FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling), featuring the characteristic texture of layer lines and gentle colors.

Due to manufacturing constraints, variations inevitably occur between individual units. Please tolerate minor inconsistencies. I wish I had better precision.

Trackball

Trackball

¥7,000 (tax included)

A trackball module using a 34mm ball, supported at three points by large bearings with an outer diameter of 14mm.
Up to two can be connected simultaneously, and the angle for each can be adjusted via software.
It glows with a faint blue light.

Additionally, it has features like automatic light-off after a few minutes of inactivity, activating a different layer while touching the trackball, and speed adjustment.
Please see details in the Build Guide and other resources.

You can turn it round and round or press it down. Useful for creative applications or scrolling.
The knob cap can be changed[2].

Quantity and Variation Information

After executing a perfect production plan, I realized just before the event that I don't have nearly enough 4-Key modules. Therefore, I've created variations of the starter sets.

You can add your preferred modules to the sets (if available).
If you want the DX version, please purchase the Knob and Trackball modules along with the 60% Starter Set. This will be slightly discounted compared to buying them separately.

Please check the colors of the key modules at the venue. As mentioned above, only white will be available in the future.

If sets remain unsold, I will switch them to be sold as individual modules as needed. Please check my SNS for updates.

Remarks

I haven't had much time to write, but I plan to publish development logs and technical details in separate articles.
Also, I feel like publishing some introductory content before the event day.
